Now here’s a kickboxing class for women from beginners to black belt masters! Exercise to music against a heavy bag & improve your fitness level in an exciting, energetic and fun atmosphere. Increase cardiovascular conditioning & build strength and muscle tone while learning useful self-defense techniques, traditional boxing techniques & moves from a variety of martial arts!

Classes are: MONDAY – WEDNESDAY –  FRIDAY: 9 – 10:00am

I’m a 53 year old woman who has been athletic off and on during her life, but was feeling too old to become athletic again ( other than walking and light weights), and was feeling frustrated about my body and life in general. I have a friend (age 52) who joined this kickboxing class, who has been running and attending aerobics classes regularly for years. When she told me about this class, I felt that she was in much better shape than I and that I couldn’t possibly do it. A couple of months later another friend (age 54) of mine told me that she had joined this kickboxing class and because her level of fitness was more like mine, I decided to give it a try. My frustration level was at a point where I felt I needed to do something to release it, and what better outlet than an activity that includes learning to punch and kick? The very first class that I attended proved that I could do it. The workout routines easily adjust to an individual’s fitness level and emphasize different muscle groups each week, which translates into burning more calories than a repetitive activity. The instructors are very encouraging, and teach a positive mental attitude towards fitness and life. In 2 months I have lost 5 pounds and 2 inches in my waistline. I have been snow skiing a lot the last few years, and this year snow skiing is much easier and more enjoyable! Since joining this kickboxing class, I have dropped an entire dress/pants size, have more energy and am a much happier person. This kickboxing class has improved the quality of my life immensely.
